Mews and Catwalks
Our Cattery consists of the Mews and the Cat Walk, which incorporates our communal and long term facility. Our units are large enough to accommodate those who are part of a large family, yet we also have the facilities to accommodate those cheeky toms, shy teenagers and gracious elderly special ones who need their own space.
As cats love warmth and sunshine, we like to be able to afford our customers the best of both worlds: warmth and shelter with free accessibility to the outdoors.
The Mews consists of:
- Nine single units and
- Two doubles for those large families.
- Each single unit is three meters square, with a comfortable 1.2 meter square
- Wendy house in the middle, surrounded by grass.
- Each home comes equipped with chairs, cushions and space for each guests own basket or carry box.
- A window and door provide ease of access to the outdoors where there is a ladder leading up into the sun deck where our felines guests love to laze and soak up the sunshine.
The Cat Walk consists of:
- Five slightly smaller homes and gardens.
- These are three meters in length and two meters wide, with a 900 x 900 Wendy house.
- As with the Mews, each home comes equipped with chairs, cushions and space for each guest's own basket or carry box.
- A window and door provide ease of access to the outdoors where again there is a ladder leading up onto the sun deck where our feline guests love to laze and soak up the sunshine.
- Incorporated into the Cat Walk are four smaller single units as well as our large communal unit which consist of three homes surrounded by a large garden.
By nature cats are territorial, and are protective of their home environment. When on neutral territory cats are mostly social by nature and like most of their human family enjoy companionship.
Kittens Care:
- Kittens take to boarding easily, and love to play around to their hearts' desire.
- Should any of our kitties require medication, we will gladly administer as per your veterinarian's instructions.
Adults care:
- Adult cats, though often nonchalant in their demeanour at first, soon relax and spend their time soaking up the sun and observing their neighbours and the busy staff around them.
- Our guests enjoy their stay.
Feeding:
- All of our guests are handled, and where possible brushed regularly.
Feeding is personally supervised by Audrey and Kathy. - Water, food & litter trays are cleaned and changed daily by our staff.
Our Menu consists of:
- Iams and tuna, yet
- Should you wish to bring your own special or specific diet, or that special daily treat, we would be more than happy to facilitate your requests.
